Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of products from NixWoods (nixwoods.com). They work alongside our Shipping Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing here removes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

1. Who we are

2. Orders & acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm and dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel an order (e.g. stock, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or un-serviceable address) and will refund any amount already paid.

3. Prices & payment

Prices are in INR and include applicable taxes unless stated. We accept prepaid (UPI, cards, netbanking) and Cash on Delivery; a small handling fee applies to COD. If a price is clearly listed in error, we may cancel and refund rather than honour the error.

4. Handcrafted, made-to-order goods

Our lights are handcrafted, often to order, so production times can vary; if we expect a delay we will keep you informed.

5. Natural material variation

Every piece is real solid wood. Natural differences in grain, tone, small knots and slight variation in size or finish are inherent to the material and are not defects. On-screen colours may differ slightly from the actual product.

6. Shipping, risk & title

Free shipping across India on prepaid orders; orders are dispatched within 3 working days and typically delivered in 5–7 working days. Risk and title pass to you on delivery. We hand consignments to couriers on time but are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers. Refused or undelivered COD parcels (RTO) may attract shipping charges.

7. Cancellation

Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled.

8. Returns, replacements & refunds

We have a strict no-returns policy for change of mind. A return or exchange is possible only if the item is delivered damaged or incorrect. Report it within 24 hours of delivery to nixwoodsx@gmail.com with your Order ID and photos, keeping the original packaging intact. If a replacement is not possible we will issue a full refund. Approved refunds/replacements are processed within 10–15 working days to your bank account.

9. Warranty

Products carry a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, improper or unqualified installation, normal wear, unauthorised repair, exposure to water, or natural material variation described above.

10. Installation

Wall lights are hardwired and must be installed by a qualified electrician following the included instructions. NixWoods is not liable for damage, loss or injury arising from improper or unqualified installation.

11. Intellectual property

All content, designs, images and marks on this website are owned by NixWoods and may not be used without written permission.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NixWoods’ total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

15. Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, complaints may be addressed to our Grievance Officer:
